This event uses RFID wristband technology to process payments for everything sold within the event. All bars, food and other vendors don’t accept cash or card. They can only accept payment via your individual wristbands. To put money on your wristband you need to top up at the the staffed top up stations (Card or cash), Self Service machines (Card only) or roaming staff (card only). We recommend you top up as much as you can in the beginning and remember you can refund all unused funds after the event at the below link.
Putting credit on your wristband
A one-time activation fee of $3.50 is deducted from your initial top-up. This small cost pays for the wristband you will receive and it covers all of your credit card fees. Unlike an ATM fee that is charged with each withdrawal you will only pay $3.50 one-time
Refunding your leftover credit
All refunds are processed by Festival Currency on behalf of Christmas Winter Wonderland 2022
You are only able to register refunds between Friday 1st July at 10am – Sunday 17th July at 5pm AEST
Refunds requested outside of this window cannot be processed. The refund window has been advertised extensively prior to and during the festival and once closed, no further applications can be made.
You must have your serial number (printed on the front of your wristband) to obtain a refund.
Front Serial Number
We are unable to track lost, damaged or misplaced refunds. If your wristband is lost or damaged, we will not be able to provide a refund. We recommend you take a photo of both numbers if case you misplace it.
Refunds are processed within 14 working days following the online request. Please allow the full 14 working days to receive your payment. You will received a confirmation email that the refund request has been accepted. If you don’t please check your spam box. You will also received a follow up email that the refund has been processed into your account
Refunded amount represents the balance remaining on your wristband, excluding the initial top-up fee, VIP credits or any promotional currency provided by the Festival.
Refund balances are automated and have been calculated accurately based on confirmed and validated transactions via the attendees wristband at Christmas Winter Wonderland 2022.
The minimum refund amount is $5. This means amounts under $5 can’t be refunded.
All refunds are in Australian Dollars and inclusive of GST.
Please ensure bank details are submitted carefully and accurately. Please double check details before submitting. When submitting you bank details please put the name of the owner of the account, not the name of the account i.e. “John Smith”, not “Super saver account”
Christmas Winter Wonderland 2022 and Festival Currency will not be responsible for any payments made into the incorrect bank account, provided by the submitter.
Christmas Winter Wonderland 2022 and Festival Currency excludes any condition or warranty, unless it is expressly set out in these Terms and Conditions or is by law incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification.
Christmas Winter Wonderland 2022 and Festival Currency will under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising in relation to any transaction entered into, or provided to the submitter.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
